Scorn is an immersive first-person horror action game that is set in a nightmarish universe that is filled with strange forms and dark tapestry.
The idea behind it is to “be immersed in this universe”. It is a lonely and unreal fantasiac world, you explore different interconnected regions using a non-linear method. This mysterious setting has an entire character.
Each area has its own theme (story) along with puzzles, as well as characters that play a role to create a cohesive environment. In the game, you’ll discover new places you will acquire different skills such as weapons, different items and attempt to understand the sights presented to you.
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
Cohesive “lived within” world. Scorn is set in an open universe that is comprised of various interconnected areas. Every region has a maze design that gives you a range of spaces and pathways. The plot is told completely in-game. The game doesn’t deleted scenes to detract from the unpleasant reality of life. Be aware and the game will not give the slightest remorse if you do not see something crucial in your chaotic travels. Everything serves a function and has a purpose. Just find out the reason.
Body awareness is full-on: Users experience greater immersion by being conscious of their character’s movements and the body. It is realistic as objects are picked up with your fingers (instead of just floating suspended in the air) Machines and instruments are operated by grabbing control buttons, etc.
It’s defined by the management of ammunition and inventory. It plays a crucial role in keeping players on a greater level of awareness throughout the course of the game.
